hi gurus ,

the need is to mount some snapshot , from eva 8100 to another server , as read only.

i plan to do this thru a script and sssu , which when run , will check if the snapshot is alredy mounted.

if alredy mounted , will umount the same from the target server , recreat a fresh snapshot and mount it again

on the target server for users as read only.

since there are only 2 volumes of which snapshot is required , a solution like RSM will be an over kill in this case.

Any more ideas on how to do is in a better way ? a sample script to accomplish the same is higly appreciated
