Java 8 Support on HP-UX

The Java Support page mentions that Java 8 will be (was) released in March 2014 and specifies end-of-support dates for older versions, but does not say if/when Java 8 will be supported on HP-UX. Is there a plan to release a Java 8 JVM for HP-UX 11 (specifically interested in 11iv3)? If so, when is this release planned and is there any documentation related to it available?

I was just asking myself the same question : Half a year after java8 has been released by Oracle, is there any idea when Java8 will be available on HP-UX ?

The HP-UX 11i Java page has been updated to include Java 8, so it would appear that this is now supported.
