swlist - Internal Error 7 in function "IC_TargetSoftwareGet"

I just upgraded an 11.23 system with the 12/09 Support Pack Bundles and other things. Now I get the following attempting to install or list a depot from a remote server:

The version of Ignite on both servers is C.7.9.260.

I've attached a listing of all the products and patches installed as well as the output from check_patches, which ran clean.

This looks to me like the download of the software was incomplete or the depot was mangled by ftp transfer.

What method was used to get the software on the system?

I used Mozilla to download the depot directly to the remote server, checked the download with md5sum, used swcopy to copy the downloaded depot to insure that it could be recognized as a depot by remote systems, and then installed it remotely to the pacsarch server from the ignite server.

I failed to mention that the ignite server where the depot resides is running HPUX 11.31.

This problem was finally resolved by installing patch PHCO_41201, replacing the patch PHCO_38149.

The problem appeared to only occur when doing a swlist to/from a host with multiple network interfaces.
