Hi list,

I am new to Ignite. I have three blade servers running HPUX and I need to make an exact copy of these 3 blades to another Enclosure, same model and same 3 blades.....just in a different location. I do not have a tape device for this operation, so I have to do it using though the network, using make_net_recovery I suppose.

How can i accomplish that? Could you guys send me a step-by-step procedure on what should I do to get there? I mean everything...

should I install Ignite on the machines I intend to copy?

do I need an Ignite Server for this taks? If so...where should it be installed...on the very server I need to copy?

Can I simply use a single install session from the client I want to copy?

What pre-reqs should I consider on the target machine, considering I intend to do this through the network?

Any help is appreciated.

Mario
