error installing ignite-ux

Hi All,

when installing ignite-ux-11-11 on hp-ux 11iv1 im getting the installation is being suspended with the following error:

ERROR:          Couldnotaccessremotefile"/opt/ignite/binia/auto_adm"in
      software item
"Ignite-UX.MGMT-TOOLS,r=C.7.15.254,a=HP-UX_B.11.11_32/64,v=HP,fr
due to an internal error on the remote system.
ERROR:         Failed installig fileset "Ignite-UX.MGMT-TOOLS,r=C.7.15.254".
*Retrynumber 1 of 1 for loaing files for fileset

Any suggestion plz?

this can happen if you transfer the file via ftp in ascii mode - did you?

Hello,

im sure that ive transfered the downloaded depot file using ftp (binary mode).

May be it is an 11iv1 related issue however, im sure of the downloaded package below:

HP-UX_11i_v1_Ignite-UX-11.11_C.7.15.254_HP-UX_B.11.00_32_64

Does the checksum match?

Also, you may have to restart swagentd: swagentd -r

When you download a patch or bundle, it should provide the md5sum or cksum values.

Then you run one of these tools and compare.

In particular if you are downloading PHCO_41529:

11.31 libc cumulative patch

MD5: babc01e86cd2726f6eef989c7ab46cf2

Checksum: 4065175730 20391609

SHA-256: baa243e5217840e6a584e68755d4c63a6bca871ab631199fdc4722fe4bb445c6

$ md5sum PHCO_41529
