      <title>Make_tape_recovery</title>

      <description>dear experts,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Currently i doing make_tape_recovery to my rx6600 server os Hpux 11.31 The command which i used was :&lt;BR /&gt;nohup make_tape_recovery -Av -a /dev/rmt/16mn &amp;amp;&lt;BR /&gt;and the error was job name not known.&lt;BR /&gt;when i type tail -f nohup.out no output at all.&lt;BR /&gt;then I check tail -f /var/opt/ignite/recovery/latest/recovery.log&lt;BR /&gt;nothing display.&lt;BR /&gt;ioscan tape claimed. then i try copy file and view using tar command can.&lt;BR /&gt;So why make tape recovery cannot run?&lt;BR /&gt;please help me.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Shattia,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Take a look at the following: &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1. # which make_tape_recovery&lt;BR /&gt;2. # swlist -l product | grep -i ignite&lt;BR /&gt;3. # ls -l /opt/ignite/bin/make_tape_recovery&lt;BR /&gt;4. # ioscan -fn /dev/rmt/16mn&lt;BR /&gt;5. # run the above command without nohup &amp;amp;  &amp;amp;.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;16mn doesn't seems to be a local tape drive, can you check # ioscan -fnC tape&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hth,&lt;BR /&gt;Raj.</description>
