Hi Admins,

B.11.23

I was trying to recover a single file from archive created by make_net_recovery but ended with below error.

root@BELL /var/opt/ignite/recovery/archives/TEST >gzcat 2010-02-15,14:13|tar -tvf /etc/passwd
Tar: tape blocksize error

Please tell me what went wrong..

you are making a network-ignite if you use tape back make_tape_recovery

Hi,

The error clearly show that tape error,
Please check by below command.

#mt -f tape_drive_path_mn status

If tape is OK will show the size if not it will give an error.
