      <description>The ignite tape is a tar/pax archive.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Forward the tape and restore by using tar.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Not sure if this works while /opt is not there.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# mt -f /dev/rmt/_mn rew&lt;BR /&gt;# mt -f /dev/rmt/_mn fsf 1&lt;BR /&gt;# tar -tvf /dev/rmt/_mn&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Maybe it is better to restore the complete system.</description>

      <description>HI &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks for the responses.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Actually i have a ignite image and now i want to install a client using the image.Please tell me the exact procedures.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;My server is 11.23 intergity..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I heard that lanbbot can be used.But i am not aware the procedure.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;We dont use dhcp and dns.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;himacs</description>

      <description>If restoring the itanium system from network, use dbprofile option from EFI.</description>

      <description>&amp;gt; Maybe it is better to restore the complete system.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;yepp, the only recommended solution is to restore the whole system. There is a big chance that the other filesystems have been updated since the ignite backup. So you would end up with an inconsistent system if you would only restore a single filesystem.</description>

      <description>Do a help dbprofile.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You configure IP address and ignite server address in order to boot from the ignite server - so you don't need DHCP.</description>
