HOW TO RESTORE MAKE_TAPE_RECOVERY FOR RX2600

Dear frenz,
Currently using server RX2600, Os hp ux 11.3
server cannot boot i want used make_tape_recovery to restore into rx2600.
How to do it?
Expertise please help me on this matter.

This server cannot boot from tape directly, you need to use the 2-step-method, booting from DVD and restore from tape.

My understanding is that later versions of Ignite can on a system with properly up to date firmware boot directly from tape.

Second doc is more on target.

The rx2600 cannot boot from tape, later models can do with current firmware.

Boot from DVD and select

-> Install HP-UX -> select Advanced Installation -> Recovery tape -> GO!
