Today i had the oppertunity te do an recovery test. Details:
ignite version C.7.8.201
I'm using an ignite server with a lot of storage where my "full" ignite backups from several (33) clients are placed.
Client is an rp3440. The company who delivered this system pre installed decided to use lan1 instead of lan0.....

I make "full" backups (entire vg00 vg01) of these systems two times a year on the ignite server. With this i mean that when i restore such a backup i have the exact situation (clone) of the moment i made that backup.

Because of lan0 not being used i cant use an network boot. So in every system delivered by this company i placed and boot from an ignite cdrom wich i made myself.
After booting from this cdrom i choose lan1 and fill i the required fields.
No problem so far It starts perfectly
But it will not go further than the last line below. I even decided to ignore the 20minit timer and wait for 2 hours because i know its a lot of data.

Any ideas?

Waiting for installation instructions from server: 10.134.192.79 [-]

Icon Name Shown in GUI: mem1
Active System Name/IP: mem1/10.134.192.98

You may now complete the installation using the "ignite" graphical
interface on the Ignite-UX server (See ignite(1M)). If you are not
already running "/opt/ignite/bin/ignite" on the server, do so now.

No further action is required at this console.

[ Perform Installation from this Console ]

[ View Active Network Parameters ]

[ Change Icon Name Shown in GUI ]

* Checking configuration for consistency...
WARNING: The disk at: 0/1/1/1.2.0 (HP_73.4GST373454LC) appears to contain a
file system.
See if you can find more details about what is going on in the install.log, located on your ignite server under /var/opt/ignite/clients/<HOSTNAME>/install.log

The view you show here is very abbreviated, maybe the detailed log will show a reason for the slow/stuck install.</HOSTNAME>
