INSTALLFS with wipe for save disc erase

Hi out there!

We have the challange to wipe all hard discs of ~ 1000 C8000. So my idea is to use a small INSTALLFS including a wipe programm which is executed. In this case the machine must simply boot from a ingnite server, get the INSTALLFS and do his wipe job.
Anybody there who knows how to set up such a customized INSTALLFS????

I used a complete OS install including file system format to do this.

My employer physically destroys the disks.

Large magnet and a large sledgehammer. I kid you not.

Well, a large magnet... Better to sell a special sunglasses which be totaly dark if someone try to read the data: What you not see is not dangerous..

No, The hard disks contains secret construction data. It is necessary to wipe the disks at least with a secure algorithm against a "normal" recovery attac. A Magnet do NOT erase relevant data on a disk :-)

And to make it more difficult: ItÂ´s not a joke if I tell you that we have to erase 1000 C8000 machines ;-) No one would like to unscrew all the harddisks and erase them outside the box.

Do I assume, that noone knows how to set up your own INSTALLFS and integrate a simple call to a binary inside the INSTALLFS??
