    <description>save_config may be stuck in ioscan, perhaps some of your I/O is hung also.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Try an ioscan command, such as ioscan -fn, see if it hangs also.</description>

      <title>Ignite backup hanging</title>

      <description>For some reason all of a sudden my ignite recover to ignite server OR to tape is now hanging and never finishing.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Does anyone know some other areas I can look at to try and isolate why?  Something must have changed in the env. to cause this, but not sure what.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Last few lines of log are:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; ** 0 - The Volume Group or Filesystem is Not included in the&lt;BR /&gt;        System Recovery Archive&lt;BR /&gt; ** 1 - The Volume Group or Filesystem is Partially included in the&lt;BR /&gt;        System Recovery Archive&lt;BR /&gt; ** 2 - The Volume Group or Filesystem is Fully included in the&lt;BR /&gt;        System Recovery Archive&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;       * Checking Versions of Recovery Tools&lt;BR /&gt;       * Creating System Configuration.&lt;BR /&gt;       * /opt/ignite/bin/save_config -f /var/opt/ignite/recovery/client_mnt/0x0&lt;BR /&gt;         01279B36DDB/recovery/2008-11-10,14:48/system_cfg vg00&lt;BR /&gt;NOTE:    Boot device is: 0/0/0/2/0.6.0&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>check log:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;more /var/opt/ignite/recovery/latest/recovery.log&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;need the output of the above log .. :)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;not much info provided.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;Johnson</description>
