      <description>hi ,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I taking ignite backup on superdom SD64B os version 11.23 its getting failed ..logs is below&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;pax: write : I/O error&lt;BR /&gt;pax: A write error has occurred.&lt;BR /&gt;WARNING: The pax command returned a non-zero exit status (exit status 1).&lt;BR /&gt;ERROR:   The find_files command failed (exit status 141).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ERROR:   The make_sys_image command failed. The system recovery archive will&lt;BR /&gt;         not be created.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;=======  01/29/09 16:02:09 IST  make_tape_recovery completed unsuccessfully&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;i am using commmand : &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; make_tape_recovery -Av -a /dev/rmt/0mn -I -x inc_entire=vg00</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;can you please post the O/P of the &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#ioscan -fnCtape&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;load a media to the tape freshly and try the following to test the tape write operations.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;load the media in the tape, then &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#mt -t /dev/rmt/0mn rewind&lt;BR /&gt;#mt -t /dev/rmt/0mn status&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;this should the Drive and Status As Online.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Try the write operation to the tape:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#tar cvf /dev/rmt/0mn /tmp&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;if all is fine:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#mt -t /dev/rmt/0mn rewind&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#make_tape_recovery -v -x inc_entire=vg00 -a /dev/rmt/0mn&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;sujit</description>
