    <description>&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;How to install the os on vPar's by using the golden image.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have four vPars in my rx 8640 server. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;from  first vPar i made the golden image  of the server.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;now i needs to replicate the OS on rest of my vPars.&lt;BR /&gt;its a RX server, So can any tell me how can i do the same.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;if you requirde any input, i will post.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;the Ignite Product also installed on the system.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1) Take golden image of the system ( make_sys_image )&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;2) run archieve_impact on the &lt;HOSTNAME&gt;.gz file and redirect to any file&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;3) copy core11.cfg to anywhere and replace that impact line with file you got in step 2&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;4) run manage_index to update the cfg file to INEDX file.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;5) make sure you have added spare ip in /etc/opt/ignite/instl_boottab file&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;6) add NIC MAC of other vpars to /etc/boottab file and assisgn the IP.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Ref: &lt;A href="http://docs.hp.com/en/5992-3336/index.html" target="_blank"&gt;http://docs.hp.com/en/5992-3336/index.html&lt;/A&gt; ( Chapter 9 )&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Best Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Ramesh S&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/HOSTNAME&gt;</description>

      <description>@Ramesh, you are refering to 11iv1 (11.11) on a PA-RISC machine, but this an Integrity ... this does not work.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;@UVA - any messages in your ignite- and syslog? Did you adjust the IP address assignment settings?</description>
