IGNITE Issue

Hi All HP-UX Gurus,

I am using HP 11.11 ignite server , is it possible to use the same 11.11 ignite Server for taking ignite backup for my 11.23 server.

And is it possible to use the same server for installing 11.23 if I have all require HP-UX OE depot for 11.23 on to that server ie 11.11.

Please help me.

Shalom,

To boot a system and do an install of 11.23, you will need to swcopy the 11.23 Core OS to the Ignite server.

You have what you need to do the job if you have the HP-UX OE.

Ignite has a support depot for 11.23 that can be installed into an 11.11 system.
