    <description>The docs claim that they emulate a tape device, but boot-ability from it is key for Ignite usefulness.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Most of the software their docs recommend are high-end backup applications, such as DataProtector.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I would recommend asking an HP rep directly about Ignite testing support with your unit.  Looks like they may have not considered this.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>I'm talking about "HP StorageWorks Virtual Library System (VLS)" , so .. I think that if I can boot from it I could use it using Ignite too, but apparently I cannot boot from it, I need to make some additional tests but apparently it does not support boot from it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Marco</description>

      <description>Fibre 'tape' device.  Duncan is correct.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Direct boot to Fibre Channel is not supported, so the "two-step" media recovery is one way to get there.
