Dear All,

Problem when Golden-Imaging server:

Image is called 2005-11-24,14:25 as I have temporarily replaced my existing image. I've re-created image, checked permissions checked NFS exports, re-exported NFS exports, rebooted ignite server..... There is no directory called archive_nfs on the ignite server but this /tmp path is not even defined within the configs anyway. I'm lost - can anybody please advise?

"

* Download_mini-system: Complete
* Loading_software: Begin
* Installing boot area on disk.
* Enabling swap areas.
* Backing up LVM configuration for "vg00".
* Processing the archive source (HP-UX Core Operating System Archives).
* Wed Oct 03 08:57:40 EDT 2007: Starting archive load of the source
(Archive HP-UX 11.00 CDE - 64 Bit OS).
cat: Cannot open /tmp/ign_configure/archive_nfs/2005-11-24,14:25: No such file or directory
* Completed 0 KBytes of archive

gunzip: stdin: unexpected end of file
pax_iux: The archive is empty.
ERROR: Cannot load OS archive (Archive HP-UX 11.00 CDE - 64 Bit OS)

The configuration process has incurred an error, would you like
to push a shell for debugging purposes?
Shalom,

Try giving the golden image a normal name like goldenimage.tz

Then adjust your configuration files to this new reality. Golden images usually have normal names, its make_net_recovery images that have unusual names like that.

Also, using /tmp as an NFS share may be problematic and cause problems since applications need full read-write access for all users and that may not be the best permission setup for other purposes.

SEP
