    <description>The latest versions of Ignite no longer support 11.00.  So downloading the latest from the web sites listed here will not work for you.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;As of the C.7.3.x release (September 2007) and later, support for 11.00 is dropped.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HP-UX install media has Ignite on it.  Use a version older than above, you should be fine.</description>

      <description>I am new to HP-UX , my system (HP rp-5450) having HP-UX 11.0.&lt;BR /&gt;My system is not having Ignite-UX and I want to take backup through make_recovery.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Where can i get the ignite-ux product for my hp-ux 11.0 ?&lt;BR /&gt;I am having 6 CD pack , this will have ignite-ux ??</description>

      <description>Your Application CD set will have Ignite/UX as well as your existing system (unless someone specifically removed it). But the command is not make_recovery (which was obsoleted many years ago). The command is make_tape_recovery, specifically:&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;make_tape_recovery -I -v -x inc_entire=vg00 -a /dev/rmt/0mn&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;where /dev/rmt/0mn must be changed to match your tape drive.</description>

      <description>You can pretty much assume that it is there.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;To see it, mount the media and use 'swlist | grep -i ignite @ &lt;PATH to="" cd=""&gt;' to see it.&lt;/PATH&gt;</description>
