Hi,

Anybody know how to use script /opt/ignite/data/scripts/examples/make_media_install for create DVD for purpose to make recovery system?

I just execute this script using the following variables:

block_special_default='/dev/dsk/c3t1d0' char_special_DVD_default='/dev/rdsk/c3t1d0'

After this, it´s possible boot by DVD-R or DVD-RW media, but I do not how to include image under archive directory.

# mount -r /dev/dsk/c3t1d0 /cdrom
# ll /cdrom
total 212448
-r-xr-xr-x 1 -1 -1 5242880 Aug 18 2005 EFI_CD_image
dr-xr-xr-x 1 -1 -1 2048 Apr 19 09:39 archives
-r-xr-xr-x 1 -1 -1 2048 Apr 19 10:00 boot.catalog
-r-xr-xr-x 1 -1 -1 103524352 Apr 19 10:00 bootvol.lif
dr-xr-xr-x 1 -1 -1 2048 Apr 19 09:39 depots

# ll /cdrom/archives/
total 0

Hi,

I discover how to myself.

# lvcreate -L 8000 -n image /dev/vg00
# newfs -F vxfs -o largefiles -b 8192 /dev/vg00/rimage
# mount /dev/vg00/image /var/opt/ignite/media/pseudo_root/archives

# /opt/ignite/data/scripts/make_sys_image -s local -d /var/opt/ignite/media/pseudo_root/archives -n B.11.11_archive.gz

The, I execute script from this form:

# /opt/ignite/data/scripts/examples/make_media_install -a B.11.11_archive.gz
