    <description>Shalom Javier,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If the tape drive is attached to the system, you should be able to boot directly from it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can probably succed using the tape from the rx4640, the hardware differences are there but no so radical as to cause failure. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;There will be an extra boot or two to deal with hardware changes.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>If i obtain a DVD Boot from a rx2620 machine (integrity system) to apply the ignite recovery tape. Can i use this DVD boot to Boot in other machine (rx4620) and then apply the ignite recovery tape already obtained from this rx4640?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>You need to boot from the install DVD in order to restore the backup from tape. Select&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;-&amp;gt; Install HP-UX -&amp;gt; select Advanced Installation -&amp;gt; Recovery tape -&amp;gt; GO!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Now you should interact with the utility to make adjustments (hostname, IP, etc..</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;you can use the Boot DVD for the other machine (rx4640) and the recovery tape but I think you should prefer a clean installation (it employs little time) from hpux 11i v2 DVD because the hardware is a bit different in the two machine.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Enrico</description>
