Try to relay your mail to your Lotus Note mail server.

vi /etc/mail/sendmail.cf

Look for the Smart relay macro, which is DS

DS<YOUR mail="" server="" hostname="">

Make sure the hostname is resolvable on your unix box.

restart sendmail and try send mail again.
</YOUR>

Hi Karthik,

Configue a mail replay for your unix server. Look for DS on your /etc/mail/sendmail.cf file and modify the entry to pass your emails to a mail replay. If you network allows emails to be sent to the network you should be able to send internet emails from your unix server.

Take a look at this thread,

http://us-support3.external.hp.com/cki/bin/doc.pl/sid=f6e1100c1d1f94ce5f/screen=ckiDisplayDocument?docId=200000045145919

Also you can do a search on the forum solution and get more suggestions.

Hope this helps.

Regds
