Ignite restore.

Hi,

We have 2 new servers, 1 rx4640 and another rx2620.

I have fully configured the rx4640, now i want to do a ignite restore it to rx2620.

Would it be possible ?

yes, it should work - just do not do the automatic restore - be sure to specify you are restoring to different hardware than what was used to create the image.

Hi Nair,

Yes it will work. We do restore backup to different servers with similar architecture.

As mentioned earlier select the option that you are restoring to different hardware.

Was able to do re-store the backups to RXs. I didn't see any option to restoring to different hardware.
