Hi

I have seen this happen in our place it took more than 12 hours to load an OS that was becuase both the servers where in a different network, is that the same case if your servers are in the same network then looks like there is an issue.

Rgds

HGN

Hi

What I was looking for was how to tell it was still running.

THe output spits out 10% completed etc. which lets you know that at least it is working.

Once we added another lan to the ignite server it ran in about 30 minutes.

Problem. Was the network seemed to only go one way very efficiently.

thanks for your help.

brad

Hi,
You can connect to your ignite server.
Once connected:

# /opt/ignite/bin/ignite

You will see ignite menu.
Lookout for your client which is being ignited.
Right click on the entry and select Detail Log option. You will be able to see what process, action is being executed on that client.

The log files are also stored at /var/opt/ignite/

Hope that helps.
Regards,
The log had nothing in it, it just hung there at the recovering files. WHen it is working you see 10% completed, 20% completed etc.

thanks
