    <description>i have 2 stratus one stratus 429 and the other stratus 412 &lt;BR /&gt;and i have hp ux version 11  on it and when i looked into the kernel parameter i saw that the formulas are diferent i wanna know why and if i can change them to what ever i want</description>

      <description>You can change some kernel parameters, yes.  To whatever you want?????       <description>Hi Rudy,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It is not abnormal that the Kernel Values are different in both systems. The initial settings on the systems do depend on each systems/installation.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;And you cannot change these values to what ever you want ! Each has it's own limitations and rules to follow. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;For getting a better idea/information about each parameter, go to &lt;A href="http://www.docs.hp.com" target="_blank"&gt;www.docs.hp.com&lt;/A&gt; and enter the kernel parameter string.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTH,&lt;BR /&gt;Shiju</description>
