Wouldn't it make more sense to respond to Mark's thread, rather than start a new one that Mark my well never see? If you respond to his thread, he will be emailed (unless he turned off notification) and will probably check the thread and see your helpful response.

I would agree that your suggestion is the most desirable way. However, at the bottom of the original thread I noticed the line "Thread closed by author"... and there was no "Reply" button (as there was on this thread). So I assumed that starting a new thread was the only way to get this valuable information to the ITRC user community.
