Yeah, but the problem is getting OnlineDiag to the serial depot in it's entirety in the first place. (This is creating an Ignite tape to send to the company we're outsourcing our builds to.) Oh well... create a new Golden Image it is. Thanks.

I'm trying to include OnlineDiag as part of a serial software depot for our Ignite process. However, we don't include the CDE and Motif stuff anywhere on our systems and swpackage won't create the serial depot with the entire OnlineDiag bundle because of that. (I don't want to take up disk space to include these to appease it either because there's not a lot to spare.) I was able to force swcopy to do this, but swpackage doesn't zeem to support an equivalent enforce_dependencies option. Is there any other method to accomplish this or is my only option to create a new image with this update included?

I think you may have answered your own question.

You could exlude OnlineDiag from the golden image and make it custom install after laying down the image. Then you can use your enforce_dependencies option.

SEP
