Hi,
Can I know if the make_tape_recovery log file is created automatically or have I to create it manually. I have run the command /opt/ignite/bin/make_tape_recovery -A -v to make a backup of the entire rootdisk, But I don't seems to be able to find the log file anywhere. Please help and advice??

* I would like to see if my backup is successful with the log file.

Regards
Vincent

Have a look in the /var/opt/ignite/recovery/latest directory.
You could also utilise the 'print_manifest' command to get an extract of what hardware/kernel/software you had on your system the last time the make_tape_recovery command was run.
