Hi,
I HAVE A PROBLEM on two server K class with HPUX 11.00. These two servers couldn't make ignite because two different versions of ignite installed on it.

I have a B5.3.35 Ignite package installed and a B3.6.82 version. These versions are so far, that i think it's the reason why the installation of these package was possible.

My questions are :

Does it possible to remove the oldest version from these servers without rebooting it ?

Does These removes don't corrupt the sd databases ?

Hi,

you can remove ignite software without rebooting system.

I don't know what you mean corrupt sd database ?

you can just do swremove and swinstall new version.

Hi,

If you still have the B5.3.35 depot, I would remove both installed versions and reinstall the latest. You can do this online, no reboot required.
