Hi All,
I have a server running 11.0 and just now installed Ingite UX 5.4.5 on the same.
I have got tar file of HPUX 11i and not Installable CD's.
I untarred the file in /tmp/HPUX11i and i see the content of this directory as if a depot.

Now when i try to create the Ignite Structure for 11i in order to ignite my other server with 11i "make_depots" command is giving error.

Can anybody tell where i am going worng and what exaclty i need to do?

What options you are passing to make_depot and what are the errors it is giving you. Can you post.

Thanks for ur reply.

# make_depots -r B.11.11 -s /tmp/HPUX11idepot
Afterwards error is given by swcopy which says cannot copy..that's all and it comes out.

What results you get if try doing:

swlist -s /tmp/HPUX11i..

What results you get of swcopy:

swcopy -x enforce_dependencies=false
-s /tmp/HPUX11idepot @ /tmp/depot

Just try doing this. And post the results.

make_depot has the syntax

make_depots -r release < release of dest depot> -d destination depot -s

You may also try using -x option along with enforce_dependencies=false. Hope this helps

swlist -l depot this you shall try and also

swlist -l budle -s /tmp/...

Prashant thanks for your concern and i am sorry it was a silly problem...it came out simply because of unavailable space in VAR file system. Gone through swagentlog.

Problem is resolved.
