Hi,
I am using san (hitachi 5846 box) with my hpux n -class server using the brocade 2800.The problem i am facing is whenever i assingn the new lun to my hp-ux server its not visible throgh sam but..i can see that using ioscan..

anybody can provide any clue.

guru,

well you have to perform an ioscan first, and then possibly an insf -e to get the devices created, before sam will see the new lun. it's part of the procedure in the manual.

I did that , but the new lun is not Showing up in sam.
