      <description>My problem is that I want to make a make_tape_recovery -x inc_entire=vg00 -x exclude=/tmp -x inc_entire=vg01 -a /dev/rmt/0mn&lt;BR /&gt;, but the error is /dev/rmt/0mn Permission denied&lt;BR /&gt;I have created an another device file c5t4d0BESTn, but the problem is the same.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have found here an another forum with the same problem, but no answer is there:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=130600" target="_blank"&gt;http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=130600&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>To start troubleshooting, I would try a simple tar command to test if the drive is okay and you have permission to write:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# tar -cvf /dev/rmt/0mn /tmp</description>
