topic Ignite /opt/ignite/boot in Operating System - HP-UX

Folks,

I need some help here. Does anyone do a make_net_recovery to create bootable images for backups? I have noticed that in /opt/ignite/boot there are several files INSTALLFS, VINSTALLFS so on and so forth. My question is, has any noticed a lock file in that directory. Such as INSTALLFS.lck. We had an issue where apparently so many of these lock files were created that we think it hit a file name limit (255 character limit) and make_net_recovery then failed because it couldn't create another lock file. Are the lock files normal and if so why do they stick around instead of cleaning themselves up? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated and rewarded!

Geno
