I've bee having a play at setting up an ignite server L2000 v11.00.

I installed ignite ok and the recommended patch PHCO_25418.

I then then added a client (another L2K v11.00) and patched that as well with the same patch.

But when i run the create network recovery archive i get the warning that the PAX on the client needs to be patched with PHCO_25418, which it allready has been.

Any ideas?

Cheers

George

Just a thought, George, because I haven't played with Ignite servers: If it's just a warning, can't it be ignored?

Pete

NB I beleive this in mentioned in the Release notes for 4.2 /opt/ignite/share/doc/relase_note

.... worth ago at least
I'd suggest it would be wise to upgrade the client too or just remove the ignite s/w and rely on the server to push the new binaries over ..... honest truth is I'm not sure, after reproducing the error I simply removed ignite on both client and server and tried again with the newer versions ... warning disappeared .
