    <description>Hi dbw,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The error indicates that the VxVM product is installed, but not configured.  The vxconfigd daemon is not running and the vxinstall command has probably not been ran to configure a disk group.  The options are to either run vxinstall to set up a disk group or swremove the VxVM product if it's not being used.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Check the make_recovery man page for furter details.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Cheers!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;during make_recovery -A -v (HP-UX B.11.11) I have  following error message:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;"vxvm:vxprint: ERROR: IPC failure: Configuration daemon is not accessible"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;after while: "System Recovery Tape successfully created".  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What above error messege mean? What is wrong? Is bootable tape realy good (can I use it to system recover?) &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;dbw&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>I don't think it's related to your problem but, if you're still using make_recovery it means you've got an old version of Ignite.  You should download and install the newest from here:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.software.hp.com/products/IUX/index.html" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.software.hp.com/products/IUX/index.html&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Then start running make_tape_recovery.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Pete&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
