Not able to execute Instl_adm command

Hi Admin
Recently i have configured One Ignite server
with the following bundle
B5725AA B.5.0.35 HP-UX Installation Utilities one L clas machine (9000/800/L2000-44)
After update of my INDEX file when i try to exeute instl_adm -T its giving a error as follows
# instl_adm -T
ksh: instl_adm: cannot execute
#
Can any one tell me how to solve this issue.

Hi Prasath,

I know this is silly but try to run it by giving the whole path
/opt/ignite/bin/instl_adm -T

how about changing the shell to sh.

Hi,

I do know Ignite Version 5 *ONLY* for itanium machines with HP-UX 11.23 Oct 2003 release. Current Ignite Rev. for PA-RISC is 4.4.

When I copy over the instl_adm from an itanium to the PA-RISC it will give "execute permission denied".

So I think you might consider some re-installing, or try this Version 5 with a Version 4 instl_adm executable...

I removed the existing ignite bundle (B.5.0.35) from that machine and installed the B5725AA (B.4.4.30) now its working fine.
