make_boot_tape questions

Hello!

I have two questions regarding make_boot_tape:

Q1:
I know it is possible to create a tape using make_boot_tape so I
can use an ignite
server that is located in a
different subnet.
(parameters -g and -m)
But what happens if you have more than one lan card installed?
We have configurations where the ignite server isn't found on lan 0, but on lan1,
lan2, ... - is the software on
the tape smart enough to detect that? ( I can imagine that the 'kernel' on the tape doesn't see those additional lan cards at all ...).

Q2: We would like to
use a CD instead of a tape,
so we would need something
like a 'make_boot_cd'
command.
Is it difficult to create a CD doing the same thing that the tape created with make_boot_tape is doing?
