Is there a way I could use the ignite tape that I have for a K570 with 64bit HPUX 11
to clone my other K410 and use 32 bit instead.
Please advise if possible. Thanks

As far as I know, NO that is not possible.

With the tape from you K570 you've got only 64-bit stuff on the tape, not 32.

You'll have to install your K410 from media or from a tape created on a 32 bit system.
The least you can do with that tape is boot into a recovery shell or network install because the tape boot kernel is HPUX 11.11 (Ignite version B) or 10.20 (version A).

I don't... It may actually allow you to restore the archive, but the host won't boot off it because it is 64-bit.

Hey, what procs are in the K410? If their 64-bit, perhaps all it needs is a firmware update to support 64-bit HPUX.

I don't think you can do so, it is not real "clone".
