no make recovery command

Hi,
can any one help on this i have /opt/ignite/bin but i dont have the make_recovery execute command on 11.0 os.
I dont no how to the make_recovery.

Hi,

You haven't installed the full fileset. You can install this from either your Application CD set, your diagnostics are from the latest support plus CD or the latest release from here:

http://www.software.hp.com/products/IUX/download.html

Install it using 'swinstall'

To create a make_tape_recovery tape:

/opt/ignite/bin/make_tape_recovery -x inc_entire=vg00 -I -v -a /dev/rmt/0mn
(assuming this is tape device you wish to use. The process must also use the no-rewind device)

Rajen,

Once you install the new version you will find that the command

make_recovery

is being replaced in the very near future with

make_tape_recovery
and
make_net_recovery

Once it's installed, do a man on those commands.
