Susan,

check in the following file:
/opt/ignite/data/scripts/os_arch_post_l

# The ioconfig files are handled by hw_instance_num config file
# keyword, however IUX can only preserve instance numbers for
# drivers that are in the INSTALL kernel. If this is a problem,
# then you can uncomment the next two lines. However doing this
# can cause some problems when cloning to different hardware.

This could be a reason???

I re-Ignited 5 servers a few weeks back and all went fine. We are using Predictive support on these servers which will dial out via modem to report any errors. Last week I found out that Predictive hasn't been running on any of these servers since they were Ignited. I used SAM to 'see' the modem and it wasn't found. I had to reinstall it. Has anyone run into the same problem? I don't recall the version of Ignite I used when I had this problem, and I have since upgraded to B.2.6.358....
Sue
I use X25 cards and have a similar problem :
x25 is badly configured after restoration
with Ignite. We don't know why and have to reinstall this part.

Herve
