There is a comment "No Data" on all feild.

I have done the following actions

1) Created a new OS user and passwd called wbem/wbem123 on both vmhost and vmguest.

2) Set the wbem credential throgh Virtual Machine-->Modify-->wbem credential
added wbem as user and wbem123 as passwd
checked "save user name and password in file system.

But still i cannot access the utlization data

Please see the below o/p for your reference

VMGuest

# cimprovider -ls
MODULE STATUS
OperatingSystemModule OK
ComputerSystemModule OK
ProcessModule OK
IPProviderModule OK
DNSProviderModule OK
NTPProviderModule OK
NISProviderModule OK
SDProviderModule OK
SGProvidersModule OK
EMSHAProviderModule OK
HPUXLVMProviderModule OK
HP_NParProviderModule OK
HP_ResParProviderModule OK
SFMProviderModule OK
HP_iCODProviderModule OK
HP_iCAPProviderModule OK
HP_GiCAPProviderModule OK
AmgrAgentProviderModule OK
HPUX_ProviderModule OK
HPUXRAIDSAProviderModule OK
HPUXSASProviderModule OK
HPUXSCSICSProviderModule OK
HPUXSCSIProviderModule OK
HP_VParProviderModule OK
HPUXFCCSProviderModule OK
HPUXFCIndicationProviderModule OK
HPUXFCProviderModule OK
FSProviderModule OK
HPUXIOTreeIndicationProviderModule OK
HPUXLANProviderModule OK
HPUXLANCSProviderModule OK
HPUXLANIndicationProviderModule OK
HP_UtilizationProviderModule OK
IOTreeModule OK
HPVMProviderModule OK

Please find the attached screen shot also

Please let me know where i am doing mistakes.

Thanks in advance.

2 questions...

(1) Where did you get VMMGR A.4.1.1 for SMH? The Mar 2010 media have A.4.1.0, and software.hp.com has the same version. The release notes are available, however, and they explicitly state that this problem is fixed in this version. See http://forums13.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1434588

(2) Do you have your VM on the network? The WBEM communication between host and guest is network-based, and the fact that the text under the VM name in your screenshot is "(?)" indicates that the VM name is not resolving... You want the "guest_ipaddress" entry in /var/opt/hpvm/guests/VMNAME/vmm_config.current to be accessible from the VM Host. Try troubleshooting WBEM with osinfo(1).

@Greg :

VMMGR software is labeled as 4.1.0 at software.hp.com. In fact, when downloaded, you will see that the version is A.4.1.1.79028

Eric
