Does the VM's disk have a OS on it ? Have you ignited the VM like a regular HPUX system (or whatever OS you want to run on it)

A VM is installed from OS media or a ignite server just like a physical machine.

All I see on your attachment is that you are in the EFI shell.

You can type exit to get out of it.

What exactly are you trying to do??

Are you trying to load the O/S to your new VM Client??

You really haven't told us very much here because there is no "VM" command per se. There is hpvmstatus, hpvmstart, hpvmstop, hpvmmodify (etc.) and all of these are command line from the VM Host.

Regards,
Rita

What's your OS version? Please boot into your OS first. If you have installed and configured, VM it will startup while your OS startup. After which, you may issue the command hpvmstatus to check your VM guests status, if you have any.

It looks like there is no OS disk asigned to that VM. Something "bootable" should appear like "fs0:", "fs1:"..etc and its proper path.
Something like that is missing, there is only "blk". You could try assigning a DVD with HPUX Installing software and check what happens at EFI SHELL, execute:
Shell> map -r
And look for "fs0:" (for example) or any "fsX" which points to a DVD or CD argument. Then change there by executing fsX: (just like D.O.S.).
