we need to allocate additional processors to a vPar; however, the maximum value for vPar's has been set at 4.

how do I increase the max from 4 to 6

It works like this

# vparmodify -p ... -m cpu:::min:max

Just fill in name, min and max CPU.

The notation is just

cpu:::min:max

by definition.

Compare to the admin guide.

OR Sokolva -- you can just use the X-Windows GUI for managing vPars:

- set your DISPLAY
- /opt/vparmgr/bin/vparmgr

Enjoy.!
