ID VSE - install

Hi, I have received a case full of DVDs for ID VSE and need to install and configure the ID VSE for a integrity rx2660.
I have never used or installed vSE (only VMWare some time ago).
i am pretty familiar with HPUX.
can you please point me to a document on install of ID VSE (that is less confusing than what comes with the DVDs)
or do you have any link that shows me the steps involved in install.

the install DVDs came with a brochure: hp vse management software, and when you go to page 19 -> 3 installation , the item prepare ofr installation, starts as:
for a requirement for hp sim look at ...
for a requirement for cms look at ...
this is overwhelming.
