      <title>HPVM problems with dynamic memory</title>

      <description>Hy,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I am triying to use dynamic memory with my guests &lt;BR /&gt;but the memory driver doesnt look like its loading on the guests.&lt;BR /&gt;Version A.03.50.00&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;with hpvmstatus I don't get all the info:&lt;BR /&gt;[Dynamic Memory Information]&lt;BR /&gt;    NOTE: Dynamic data unavailable, configured values only&lt;BR /&gt;Type                    : driver&lt;BR /&gt;Minimum memory          : 512 MB&lt;BR /&gt;Target memory           : 5120 MB&lt;BR /&gt;Maximum memory          : 5120 MB&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;And when I try to reduce memory I get:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/root# hpvmmodify -P vmf -x ram_target=4122&lt;BR /&gt;hpvmmodify: ERROR (vmf): Query to dynamic memory driver failed: Function is not available.&lt;BR /&gt;hpvmmodify: Failed to set ram_target.&lt;BR /&gt;hpvmmodify: Unable to modify the guest.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have tried using any and driver with the same result.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;-x ram_dyn_type={any|driver}&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any idea what module, daemon has to be loaded on the client get this working ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Did you install the hpvm_guest_depot on the guest?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It's in&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/opt/hpvm/guest-images/hpux/11iv2 or 11iv3/hpvm_guest_depot.11iv_x_.sd &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;on the host and needs to be installed on the guest.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Once installed on the guest the tool will be in&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/opt/hpvm/bin</description>
