Urgent ! Console error message

i received console message said that in.ftpd & boksadm program error. ANd now i cannot do ftp from my PC to server. What problem ?

I am using boksadm program for authntication login control. Pls help.

can you give the error message that you are getting in the console .

it could be a lot of thing but if you will
give the error it will much easier .

i will also check the /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log for error .

The exact meesage is :-

BOKS Manager ERROR ! in.ftpd in /etc/inetd.conf does not refer to the boks manager program. Boks Manager ERROR /bin/su i snot an Boks manager program.

How to restart the boksadm program and hoe to activate again my ftp process.

From the message it would seem that the
inetd.conf has been changed and the boks program doe snot like the format.

This should be taken up with the supplier.
