Hi all!

I have 10Gb network interface on my new servers . I did some tests with netperf to get the real performance, but I found poor results : ( you can find full netperf report in attachments).

Best performance:

SEND : 3.67 Gb/s

RECEIVE : 4.00 Gb/s

What parameters I should modify to reach acceptable throughput? (9-10Gb/s)

The servers aren't in production yet so there is no traffic execpt my tests and are connected directly ( I have eliminated the switch to simplify the investigation).

HP-UX 11.31 is installed on both servers and the card model on both is

- HP AD385-60001 PCI-X 10GBase-SR

- Adapter Card Model: AK344A or AH400A

- Adapter Firmware Version: 5.4.4

Server 1 has 8 Intel(R) Itanium 2 9100 series processors (1.6 GHz, 24 MB) : 16 logical processors and 128GB memory and Server 2 has 2 Intel(R) Itanium 2 9100 series processors (1.59 GHz, 24 MB) : 4 logical processors and 32GB memory

Thank you!
