Hi Friends

We have problem with Integrity BL860c i2 which is under HP-UX 11i v3. in this blade enclosure contains virtual connector and configure to Integrity BL860c i2. In this case all blade servers working fine expect one. Problem is in ioscan -fnC lan command it display all the lan ports available including (lan0) but when we try to configure it using lanscan or SAM, it won't display lan0. other lan ports are working.

Any suggestions ?

This could be related to the VC configuration or the blade enclosure port assignments.

Check from OA and virtual connect manager.

By thinking like that we did following testing.

All other Itanium blade servers are working fine without problem.
When we change this blade to other enclosure bays it also not working.

Other problem is lan0 is showing in ioscan -fnC lan command.
It doesn't come to SAM or lanscan command outputs
What gives

# nwmgr -g -v -c lan0

Maybe the NIC is broken, so you need a new systemboard.
