topic Using nettl to trace packet headers in Operating System - HP-UX

Hello,

I'm looking for some guidance on how to use nettl to trace packet headers. I've used nettl for regular packet tracing previously, however, new industry regulations don't allow me to trace the data (sensitive info).

I see 'kind' parameters 'hrdin' and 'hdrout' and have tried using them but no data is captured in the trace file.

Example:

nettl -tn hdrin hdrout -e ns_ls_ip ns_ls_tcp -m 0 -tm 30M -f /tmp/trace/trace

Thanks,
Blake
