Kernel tuning in Itanium

Dear Admins,
Kindly tell me How to tune kernel parameters in an itanium server. In sam the icon itself is not available. I don't know how to proceed with this.

Have you tries "kmtune" command?
man kmtune

This may not help to much but......

Did you try running SAM in text mode?
I know it's not as colorful but it display's all the SAM options in text.

Dear all thanks for your support, But in 11i onwards the kernel tuning is a web-based activity. What I have to do is close netscape in my client end(to the system the export DISPLAY is set). and double click KCWEB-icon or give the url in your web-browser, it will take you to the system on validating user-id and passwd.
