Samba_setup error

Here is the environment we have:
HP-UX hewey B.11.23 U 9000/800

We like to have Samba server to be ADS member server because our Active Directory and Primary Domain Controller change to Windows 2008. For this reason we downloaded and installed:
CIFS: B8725AA_A.02.04_HP-UX_B.11.23_IA_PA.depot
Kerbero Client: KRB5CLIENT_D.1.6.2.04_HP-UX_B.11.23_IA_PA.depot
LDAP-UX Integration Client Service: J4269AA_B.04.20_HP-UX_B.11.23_IA_PA.depot.

When we run Samba_setup, we got this error:

Attempting to join the realm DENSEM.EDU...
Bad option: -U

An error occurred in the join command!

Net ads join returned the following:
Failed to join domain: Invalid parameter

Copied file /etc/opt/samba/smb.conf as /etc/opt/samba/smb.conf.try.1264.

Is there anyone running this problem?

try running the join command by itself. I just looked at the script (/etc/opt/bin/samba_setup) and do not see anything obviously wrong.

net ads join -U administrator

Your /etc/opt/samba/smb.conf file needs to be set up correctly, along with /etc/krb5.conf. To get those set up correctly, look at the kerberos whitepaper:

I tried the command manually as
#Net ads join -U {Domain admininstrator user}
I got the same error as "Bad option: -U".

If I don't use the option -U, it works fine.

Since samba_setup script includes the option -U, I couldn't use this script for the initial setup.

Any idea?
